Pinafore Days

I've been caught in a pinafore phase for the past year or so now and picked this one up on Asos just last week. The ditsy floral print is adorable and pinafores are so comfortable to wear, I think it would also work well in winter with some opaque tights, chelsea boots and a leather jacket.

Last night I went and saw the new inbetweeners movie with my boyfriend. The whole cinema was in utter hysterics as it was jam packed with the usual mishaps and laddish behaviour. I thought the first movie was pretty good, but this one was by far my favourite of the two and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch if you're a lover of the TV series.

That Hat

Today I was brave enough to wear my new hat for the first time. I'm still completely undecided about it, had a few mixed reactions but it makes the outfit a little different. I paired it with my trusty denim jacket from Topshop, my favourite floral skirt and headed into town for lunch and a catch up with my best friend.

Hands up who else was glued to their television last night for the new series of Bake Off? I can only dream of being as stylish as Mary Berry when I'm her age! (And of course capable of effortlessly whipping up a tray bake or two). My money is on either Martha or Nancy to win!

Alphabet Dress

Even having no where in particular that I needed to be this afternoon, I decided to wear my new alphabet dress which I snapped up on Asos during the sale a few weeks ago (still available I think!). The thing I love about dresses - especially during the summer - is how they deceivingly make you look like you've made an effort when in reality this outfit completed itself. All I needed was my red box bag and a slick of red lipstick before I errrr... continued watching Netflix and writing this blogpost. I'm sure I'll find somewhere to wear this beautiful bargain of a dress soon!
