Candy Floss Coat

Coat: Bank // Shirt: Topshop // Skirt: Asos // Necklace: Asos // Brogues: Topshop

I've been after the perfect pastel pink coat ever since that Zara one sold out last winter and finally I've found one that lives up to my expectations and for only a fraction of the price. I got mine from Pink Soda at Bank which is a shop I'd completely forgotten about but with heaps of brands to choose from online and instore it almost feels like a mini Asos. Surprisingly I've found quite a few outfits to pair with my candy floss coloured coat and I'm sure this won't be the last that you'll see of it on the blog.

Saturday Night

Top: Topshop // Skirt: Topshop (No longer available)  // Shoes: Asos // Bag: Asos // Lipstick: Mac Russian Red

A couple of months ago I had an email telling me I'd qualified for free next day delivery on all of my future orders at Topshop as a reward for being a loyal customer (read I buy far too much from there), which is both wonderful and dangerous when it comes to manic Fridays when I'm trying to find an outfit for Saturday night. I went for this black floral applique top, paired with my lazer cut skirt (which was a bargain in the summer sale) and felt pretty comfortable in my new strappy mid heels from Asos. No trouble walking home in these after hours of dancing!

Hope everyone had a good weekend and thanks to those who take the time to leave lovely comments on my previous outfit posts, I really do appreciate every single one and will never get tired of the Taylor Swift comparisons haha :)

Jungle Dress

Dress: Urban Outfitters // Hat: Asos // Sandals: Zara

This is the final weekend I'll spend at home in locations like this before I head back to university in Sheffield to begin my second year of studies. I've no idea how easy or troublesome blogging will be when I have greater work commitments and less opportunities to take pictures in places as jungle-esc as this, but fingers crossed I'll remain consistant with my blog posts.

I'm so excited that London Fashion Week is now upon is and cannot wait to see designs from Mulberry, Amanda Wakeley, Matthew Williamson, Alice Temperley, Topshop Unique and Orla Kiely in particular. If, like myself, you're not lucky enough to be going to LFW then you can watch the shows live from your living room without having to worry about what you're wearing by following this link.

I'd love to know how everyone is spending their weekend and if there are any fashion week shows you're looking forward to!

September Summer

Dress: Dahlia // Necklace: Asos // Bag: Zara

Armed with a tripod and my Spaniel Toby, today I decided to take a few outfit photos at a beautiful nature trail just a short walk from my house, I really should try to take photos in locations like this more often and ignore the slightly confused looks I get off other dog walkers!

The weather still feels like Summer at the moment here in Devon so I thought I'd throw on one of my favourite floaty dresses and make the most of it. It's actually more of a smock dress but I just paired it with a silver belt to turn it into a skater dress which I find to be more flattering on me.

The Bow Tie

Shirt: Zara // Bow: Asos // Skirt: Asos // Bag: Zara // Shoes: Topshop

Looking at these photos I don't think orange/peach is necessarily the best colour on me, but I picked this shirt up in the Zara sale whilst on holiday in Majorca last month and decided to pair it with the cutest bow from Asos.

I spoke briefly in my last post about accessories that I wanted to invest in for Autumn and bows and statement necklaces were definitely on my list. Neck detail really can transform an outfit and make it a little unusual.

All About Accessories

Necklace: Accessoryo // Handbag: Accessoryo // Hat: Accessoryo // Bow Tie: Asos // Watch: Olivia Burton
Sunglasses: Accessoryo // Clutch: Asos // Earrings: Accessoryo

Sometimes, all an outfit really needs to transform it from good to a full on stand out crowd pleaser is the right balance of on trend accessories. This wishlist features items that I desperately want to get my hands on to help update the last of my Summer wardrobe (it might be September now but I'm still hanging on) and help get me ready for Autumn without spending an absolute fortune.

I recently found out about a fabulous and affordable online store called Accessoryo which have some gorgeous pieces to suit every individual style. Think I'm actually in love with the fedora, how cute is that bow detail!? If you fancy making any cheeky purchases then be sure to use the discount code AFT20 to get 20% off your order.

Key accessory trends here to stay:

1. Neck Detail. Be it a collar, chunky necklace or a cute bow tie, make sure you have a few accessories at hand to help dress up the simple white shirt - a staple item in every girls wardrobe.

2.Textured Handbags. As timeless as the plain leather Whistles or American Apparel clutch bags are, textured handbags are a fun piece to incorporate into your style. The red pony hair handbag above is a definite winner for me and would look fab paired with a LBD.

3. Pops of Pastel. Some may argue pastels are a Summer trend but why not continue them into Autumn/Winter if you're an ultra girly girl like myself? My pastel accessories are going no where.
