Just a quick post to share my picks of the FeelUnique Sale. I would love to purchase all nine items but my budget doesn't stretch that far so my top three products and the ones which are currently in my basket are: the GlamGlow mud mask which has 25% off and although is still more than I'd like to pay, is as good a discount as I think you'll ever see; the Seche Retain nail strengthener to help my brittle, guitar damaged nails; the Stila smudge pot in Kitten- a cult classic.

Not Seaside Safe

Nothing screams British seaside holiday more than a spot of crazy golf, a 99 ice cream and tray of fish and chips before a stroll along the pier and that's exactly how I spent my Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by my best friend.

Having grown up in Devon I often take for granted the perks of living so close to the sea, but not today as I took full advantage of the touristy activities on my doorstep. Although, I did appear thoroughly unprepared as my hat blew away multiple times and a dress is definitely not appropriate crazy golfing attire. Didn't think that one through.

I had a good old rummage through the depths of my bank statements *shudders* to see if I could find out where I'd purchased this navy polka dot dress from back in March, but had no luck. There is a link above to a pretty similar one though if anyone is interested.

Anyone else lucky enough to live by the seaside?

Pinafore Days

I've been caught in a pinafore phase for the past year or so now and picked this one up on Asos just last week. The ditsy floral print is adorable and pinafores are so comfortable to wear, I think it would also work well in winter with some opaque tights, chelsea boots and a leather jacket.

Last night I went and saw the new inbetweeners movie with my boyfriend. The whole cinema was in utter hysterics as it was jam packed with the usual mishaps and laddish behaviour. I thought the first movie was pretty good, but this one was by far my favourite of the two and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch if you're a lover of the TV series.

That Hat

Today I was brave enough to wear my new hat for the first time. I'm still completely undecided about it, had a few mixed reactions but it makes the outfit a little different. I paired it with my trusty denim jacket from Topshop, my favourite floral skirt and headed into town for lunch and a catch up with my best friend.

Hands up who else was glued to their television last night for the new series of Bake Off? I can only dream of being as stylish as Mary Berry when I'm her age! (And of course capable of effortlessly whipping up a tray bake or two). My money is on either Martha or Nancy to win!

Alphabet Dress

Even having no where in particular that I needed to be this afternoon, I decided to wear my new alphabet dress which I snapped up on Asos during the sale a few weeks ago (still available I think!). The thing I love about dresses - especially during the summer - is how they deceivingly make you look like you've made an effort when in reality this outfit completed itself. All I needed was my red box bag and a slick of red lipstick before I errrr... continued watching Netflix and writing this blogpost. I'm sure I'll find somewhere to wear this beautiful bargain of a dress soon! 

First Outfit Post

Took about 200 photos and only ended up with 2 that were even slightly okay haha. I don't think I fully understood how difficult it can be to get a half decent picture and not shout at your mum for her lack of photography skills (errrr definitely not my lack of modelling and awkwardness...) before this afternoon. I've got a lot to learn about blogging!
